So, just 3 days before the Luke Cage releases on Netflix September 29th, a new trailer has released showing even more up close and personal action.
Dubbed the "Streets" trailer, it kind of shows him coming to grips with his new power and just how far he will go in using it. Luke is of course teaming up with Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Iron Fist in the Defenders series, which will be coming to Netflix next year. Daredevil season 3 will also be coming in 2017 as well as Iron Fist, which is currently filming now starring Game of Thrones' Finn Jones.
Speaking of Iron Fist, the production team will be heading to NYCC this year speaking about the upcoming series. It has been announced that during the panel they will be debuting premiere footage of Iron Fist! The panel will take place on Saturday, October 8th from 630-730PM on the main stage of the Jacob Javits Center. Marvel's Head of Television Joseph Loeb will be moderating the panel.
NYCC takes place the entire weekend Thursday October 6th – Sunday October 9th and opens at 10 AM this year (1 hour later than normal) for those in the area who want to attend. I personally will be there for the Iron Fist Panel as well as others including TMNT, Power Rangers and John Wick 2 Lionsgate among others.
