The DLC God demands coins for his Coin Throne! Creative Assembly has announced their next piece of DLC for Total War: Warhammer, "The King & The Warlord", bringing new units, lords, maps and more to the game.
Maybe the introduction about the DLC was a bit harsh, but who can resist an opportunity to refer to the Blood God? Anyhow, Creative Assemble hasn't really "officially" announced their next piece of DLC, the announcement trailer is still set as hidden on their channel and the Steam store page hasn't gone live yet, but that has never stopped anyone before.
The King & The Warlord bolsters the Dwarves and Greenskin factions with new rival Legendary Lords with new questlines, magic, skill trees, and items, two additional lord types, six new "iconic units", 22 new elite regiments of renown, and new maps to battle on, sort of like The Grim and The Grave DLC.
The two new Legendary Lords are Belegar Ironhammer and Skarsnik, two classic rivals in the Warhammer universe. After the past few DLC releases fans started to ask for more content for Dwarves and Greenskins, and he who asks shall receive. It's also pretty great that Creative Assemble added a Goblin Legendary Lord, they are always fun to play as.
Neither the trailer nor the Steam store page has officially gone live yet but the trailer can be viewed above and the store paged can be accessed via this link.
The King & The Warlord launches on October 20 with the price of $8, those who pre-order it gets a ten percent discount.
It looks like, according to Creative Assembly's leaked DLC planes, that after The King & The Warlord there is only two more pieces of DLC left to release, and possibly two more called "promo dlc a" and "promo dlc b".
