Telltale has announced that the fourth episode of Batman: The Telltale Series Guardian of Gotham will release this Tuesday, November 22nd.
In Episode 4, Penguin has taken control of Wayne Enterprises, and the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane has a new guest – you – Bruce Wayne. With the Batman removed from the streets of Gotham City, Harvey Dent's forces and the Children of Arkham are at war, with innocent citizens caught in the crossfire. To escape the 'comforts' of your padded cell, you must choose allies to aid in your escape, even if they aren't the sort to put a smile on your face
After episode two and the choice we had to make at the end on who to save, episode 3 saw some minor differences after these results. Episode 4 will be even more extreme, with Telltale themselves issuing a warning notice for all players.
Players will leave this episode in very different places depending on where they choose to go in the third act, and this will greatly affect their story rolling into the season finale as well.
This screams multiple playthroughs if I ever heard one. Remember though, if you do play multiple times make sure you use the route you really want last so you don't have to play again leading into episode 5. What do you think of Batman: The Telltale Series so far? Let us know.
