Witcher 3 producer calls Cyberpunk 2077 ‘really, really, really f***ing badass’ at the Golden Joysticks

CD Projekt RED cleaned up on the awards BTW

The Golden Joystick Awards went down last night on a livestream via GamesRadar, and CD Projekt RED was one of the evening's biggest winners. The studio took home the awards for Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, and Studio of the Year for their work on The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion. That last one is a biggie.

However, one of the biggest things happened during the pre-show, where CD Projekt RED Executive Producer, John Mamais talked a little bit about Cyberpunk 2077 (which the studio is still clearly not comfortable talking about) saying how the team was excited to work on something new after having their focus purely on medieval fantasy for so long. After being pressed by the host for more details, Mamais stood his ground, revealing only that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be “really, really, really f***ing badass.”

Sorry guys, no leaks here. Lips are as tightly sealed as it gets, which is a rarity in today's social media-driven PR economy. That said, what we (think we) know is that the game will feature vehicles, be created using entirely upgraded tools from The Witcher 3 development cycle, and could potentially have seamless multiplayer. Oh, and this is also not the first time someone associated with the project has used the word "f***ing" to describe Cyberpunk 2077.

We have no idea when Cyberpunk 2077 will see the light of day, but when we do, we'll be sure to let you know.
