A new surfing game that promises to bring “the intensity of the surging waves and killer tricks” is on its way to PS4.
Climax Studios, the folks behind Rocket Knight, announced Surf World Series. It’s an extreme sports game where players will be able to pull off tricks on five of the world’s most infamous surfing destinations including Bells Beach, Australia and Waimea Bay, Hawaii.
The game will allow players to test their skills in 45 single player challenges and compete in online tournaments against up to 15 other surfers in three different multiplayer modes.
The game looks like it will capture a Tony Hawk on water vibe as players will have tens of thousands of customization options at their disposal, and they can also build up their skillset to perform new tricks and rank up their character.
Surf World Series is expected to release sometime in 2017 on PS4.
