Guillermo Del Toro's new animated mini-series Trollhunters debuts this week on Netflix, but that hasn't stopped a new trailer from leaking out this weekend. As a little appetizer, we get a glimpse of what Jim and his friends will have to go through in the series.
Jim Lake Jr. is a teenager in high school who finds a magical amulet that shows the way to a civilization of trolls. These trolls live underneath his home town of Arcadia. Jim, along with his friends Toby and Claire, must protect these good trolls from another, separate evil troll society. There is a lot going on right underneath Arcadia's eyes, and the kids have to keep their lives balanced along with attending high school.
Trollhunters releases this Friday, December 23rd on Netflix.
