After confirming Red Ded Redemption 2's existence, Rockstar Games went relatively quiet on the upcoming game. However, that doesn't mean that the rest of the internet took a break from discussing it. The same 4Chan members that leaked some Grand Theft Online DLCs, based on "internal Rockstar communications" is at it again, this time they are focusing on Red Dead Redemption 2.
The rumblings on 4Chan detail Red Dead Redemption 2 to be quite similar to Rockstar's most recent hit game, Grand Theft Auto V. The rumor detailed Red Dead Redemption 2's main characters and online mode.
Previous rumors suggested that the game would be headed by Jack Marston, John Marston's son (main character from the first game), but the latest rumor doesn't quite say that. According to folks on 4Chan, Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature three main protagonists and all three are connected to John Marston.
Details on the main characters were light, but it was detailed that the three characters were a part of Marston's gang before Red Dead Redemption took place.
As for the online mode, the 4Chan member detailed that Red Dead Redemption 2's online mode would be very much like GTA Online – except with horses instead of cars. It was suggested that the game's online mode would not be released alongside the game, but see a delayed release in order to maintain server stability and to allow players to play the story mode instead of skipping it.
Red Dead Redemption 2's release window is Fall 2017.
