Pokemon Snap filled our need for a console Pokemon game on the N64, but left a gap in our hearts once the N64 generation was abandoned. Someone has ripped and downloaded a level from the N64 game and put it on the 3DS.
The game looks so at home on the 3DS, that it's almost a shame Nintendo didn't do it.
YouTuber Ganjulationess3DS took to a video to show off some of the features they brought to life on their 3DS version. Unfortunately, some features like Pester Ball throwing, Pokéflute playing, and creature animations are weren't featured in the video, though, the video does show off some dual action screenplay and picture taking.
Ganjulationess3DS doesn't plan on releasing their port to public, though they are planning on sharing the aspects of the port that have nothing to do with Nintendo – like camera control and picture taking.
If seeing it on the 3DS didn't make you want the game already, YouTuber Spenser Solys got the game running on VR. It wasn't as smooth of a leap in comparison to the 3DS version, but it still leaves that aching need for another Pokemon Snap game (except with more Pokemon and more locations).
