The original intro for 'Batman: The Animated Series' has been recreated using the all too familiar LEGO Batman.
If you're one of the many fans who are looking forward to the upcoming 'LEGO Batman Movie', you might be asking yourself, "Why don't they just re-do literally EVERYTHING Batman related with LEGOs?" Well, you're in luck! Recently, YouTuber, Kyle Roberts, known for making stop-motion animations, as well as live action fan films, has set his sights on the opening sequence to the revered cartoon of the 90's, 'Batman: The Animated Series'.
The new version features a full beat-by-beat recreation of the original opening animation with some crudely drawn backgrounds to give it that "kid in his room" feel. He even went so far as to match Will Arnett's dark, gravelly Batman voice almost perfectly. Roberts had this to say:
“I remember coming home from school almost every day and turning on this show. It’s one of my all time favorites. It was for sure a labor of love recreating this intro."
The LEGO Batman Movie releases February 10th!
