Madden NFL 17 predicts that Super Bowl LI will be a game to remember with an outcome almost no one wants

Seriously, the only people who respect the Patriots are Patriots fans.

Call it what you will, but there's one inescapable truth about the outcome of Super Bowl LI. 99.9% of the NFL world wants Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to fall on Sunday, likely even the Commissioner, Roger Goodell himself. And it's really no surprise. The Patriots rub everyone but New Englanders the wrong way and have for years, yet they keep on winning. Despite the Atlanta Falcons' quietly stellar run after a .500 season a year ago, Madden NFL 17 predicts that they will be the ones coming up short against the Patriots.

That said, it's supposed to be a good game. Tom Brady will supposedly take his offense down the field during the final seconds of the game to find his bestie, Julian Edelman for a game-winning touchdown, and become the only quarterback ever to win 5 Super Bowls, taking home MVP honors in the process. The final score will be 27-24.

Super Bowl LI is set up to be the classic heavyweight versus underdog bout, only the heavyweight (Brady and Co.) is delusional enough to think they're the underdog. But hey, that's Brady for you (we get it, you were a sixth-round pick, and everyone passed on you five times…but that was over ten years ago).

Sadly, I have to concur with Madden's prediction. The safe bet is that Brady and the Patriots find a way to win as they always do, and history will be made. Super Bowl LI goes down this Sunday, February 5th at 6:30 PM EST.
