Eight months to go until release and we got the first trailer for the LEGO Ninjago Movie from Warner Bros tonight.
The movie shows Lloyd, the classic green Ninjago, in battle against his very own dad the evil Garmadon, aka The Worst Guy Ever. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their inner power of Spinjitzu.
There is going to be a huge voice cast, starring Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods, and the legendary Jackie Chan as Master Wu. LEGO Ninjago Movie releases in theaters on September 22nd 2017 with the LEGO Batman Movie releasing this Friday, February 10th.
