Blizzard has begun to plan the seeds for what looks like the next character reveal for multiplayer shooter Overwatch. And perhaps most surprisingly, the first easer appears to rule out Doomfist.
Under the guise of an interview that takes place in the Overwatch world, we are introduced to 11-year-old tech and robotics genius Efi Oladele. It's unclear if Efi is indeed the next new character, or if she just somehow ties into the new character's lore. Perhaps one of her robotic inventions could be the new character, as she does say her dream is to build something "that can keep us safe."
As the recipient of Adawe Foundation's prestigious "genius grant," it's entirely possible she could use the money to build some sort of robot to keep us safe. In the meantime, she's taking a trip to celebrate, so it looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer before we discover the new character.
