Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, Borderlands 2, and four other games added to Xbox One via Backward Compatibility

Yes, Rogue, been waiting for that one!

The latest batch of backward compatible games for Xbox One has arrived, and just like Phill Spencer said, it is a pretty good batch.

Last week, Phil Spencer revealed that this week's backward compatible games would be pretty great and he was not wrong. This batch brings a total of six games into the backward compatibility fold if you include Borderlands 2, which is part of this month's Games With Gold. Besides Borderlands 2, the other backward compatible games added are Assassin's Creed: Rogue, King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, GyromancerSpace Invaders Infinity Gene, and Moon Diver.

As per usual, when such a large batch is added there is something for everyone available. What is interesting about this batch though is that Assassin's Creed: Rogue was included. It was only two months ago that Ubisoft said that had no plans on making the game backward compatible any time soon, but it seems like they have changed their mind. Goes to show that asking developers to add your favorite Xbox 360 games to backward compatibility works, to some extent at least.
