It’s had a good run, all things considered, but Grand Theft Auto V’s multiplayer mode has ceased updating for previous-gen versions on Xbox 360 and PS3. As a result, if you still want to continue your character’s reign of terror on a current gen platform and get all of the benefits from the major updates that are still to come, you’re going to want to transfer that character over before Monday, March 6th. It should be noted that you will still be able to play the multiplayer mode on previous gen versions, but should you ever decide to upgrade; you will have to start over.
Transferring your character is a relatively painless process, just make sure you have your RockStar Social Club connected to whatever new platform you are moving over to and the system will walk you through the process.
If you're hesitant about moving up to a new platform, consider this. PC players have access to a plethora of amazing mods, such as The Lion King, Gang Hideouts, and GTA V RPG. So there are so many other levels of play that you just can’t get on last-gen platforms.
