NieR: Automata is officially here, and if you haven't heard the news, it's pretty awesome. As is the norm, there is, of course, a launch trailer for the game to coincide with its release and this one is a hybrid of narrative dialog and action-packed gameplay. Death is a prominent them in NieR: Automata, and it comes across quite literally in the launch trailer.
Death plays a part in both the narrative and in the gameplay, as NieR: Automata is intentionally designed to be a challenging game and even borrows game mechanics from Dark Souls.
NieR: Automata is available now on PS4 in North America, with a PC release coming later this month on March 17th.
