Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer allegedly releasing this week; Last Jedi panel on Friday

The Force will soon be with us.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is probably the most anticipated movie of 2017. Little is known about the eighth entry in the sci-fi franchise, but it'll take place just seconds after the ending of The Force Awakens where Rey will finally meet Luke Skywalker. The movie is expected to give answers to some of the burning questions fans have like who Rey's parents are, why Luke isolated himself, who Snoke is, etc etc..

This week, a brand new trailer will debut either tomorrow on ABC's morning news show Good Morning America or at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida. Rumors from Star Wars News Net indicate that the trailer will be much more than a simple teaser and will have the feel of a "full trailer", so expect something on the level of the second trailer we got for The Force Awakens instead of that brief trailer that released a year prior to the movie.

The Last Jedi panel is scheduled for 11 AM EST on Friday. If you can't attend Star Wars Celebration, the panel will be streamed on StarWars.com and presumably the official Star Wars YouTube channel. Director Rian Johnson and Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy will be on the panel but some of the film's stars are expected to appear as well.

Whenever the trailer debuts, we'll have it here on GameZone.com so stay tuned.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi releases on December 15th, 2017.
