[Watch] Dropping the Nintendo Switch from 1,000 feet doesn’t end like you’d think

Alternate title: You won't believe what happens when you drop a Switch from 1,000 feet!

Apparently, YouTubers can't stop attempting to destroy the Nintendo Switch. The last durability test saw someone taking items of various sharpness to the screen (as well as fire) to test what the Switch could withstand. A new durability test made the Switch fly.

YouTuber UnlockRiver.com decided to do a durability test with the Nintendo Switch that had the device dropping from 1,000 feet in the air onto a cement parking lot.

After dropped the Switch from so far up, you'd think it would explode on impact – but it didn't

The Switch hit the cement, bounced onto some grass, then bounced back onto the cement while parts flew off – but it wasn't destroyed. Once the poor Nintendo Switch stopped doing its bounces of death laid on the cement with a Joy-Con having been violently ripped off, the true test came – attempting to turn on the Switch.

It turns out that a 1,000-foot fall isn't enough to entirely destroy a Nintendo Switch – just the Joy-Con. The device turned on promptly without a scratch on the screen. Check it out below:
