Rumor: New details on Nintendo Switch, 3DS’ game Pokemon Stars revealed

PLEASE MAKE MORE POKEMON.

With Nintendo announcing a Pokemon Direct, set for today, rumors on what Nintendo will be revealing are at an all-time high. The rumor with the most pull is the one that focuses on a Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch, titled Pokemon Stars. The rumor has a bit of sway, considering that Pokemon producer Junichi Masuda previously hinted that a Pokemon game might be headed to the Nintendo Switch.

The only official thing we know about the Pokemon Direct is that it will be 8-minutes long. With the direct coming, a new rumor on Pokemon Stars has surfaced. This time, someone claiming to be a game translator on 4chan (via NeoGAF) has offered some alleged details on the game.

According to the rumor, the new game will be available on both 3DS and Nintendo Switch and will feature no new Pokemon or Mega Evolutions. While there are no new Pokemon, Necrozma will be getting a new form and exclusive Z-Moves.

There will be gyms and will no trials.

The game will be set in Alola and will be a sequel that focuses on past events (like Black & White 2). According to the leaker, "you'll know more about how Mohn lost his memories, and how Necrozma fell into our world (hint: stars)."

Oh, and there are more cut scenes – more than Sun and Moon had.
