A selection of Ultimate Team Icon cards have been revealed for FIFA 18, and to say that there are some big names in the offing is possibly an understatement.
Ever since the franchise brought back players from the past with the launch of their Legends collection for FIFA 14, many gamers will have been waiting for the likes of Thierry Henry to enter the fray. And finally, Henry will be doing just that – but he's not alone.
Alongside Arsenal's record goal scorer, Ronaldo Nazário, Diego Maradona, Lev Yashin and Pelé will also be added to FIFA 18.
Such additions will mark the closure of UT Legends, but the beginning of a cross-platform set of Icon player cards – with PlayStation gamers being offered the chance to play with some of their favourite footballers from yesteryear for the very first time. In recent years, such content has been exclusive to Xbox.
The newest instalment to the FIFA series, FIFA 18, is set to hit shelves this September.
