While the expansions for the first Star Wars: Battlefront hit EA Access, the upcoming beta for Battlefront 2 has been detailed!
If you pre-order Star Wars Battlefront II, you can jump into the beta early on October 4th. The beta will open to the public on October 6th, and continue until October 9th.
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta will include the 'Galactic Assault on Naboo,' as well as 'Multiplayer Starfighter Assault'. DICE/EA didn't detail what the Multiplayer Starfighter Assault would entail, however, it was detailed that the objective-based, multi-stage battle would be getting further detailed at Gamescom.
Galactic Assault on Naboo (as per the developer's wording):
- Join the Separatist droid army or the Republic Clones on the streets of Theed in massive 40 player multiplayer melees

Choose from four distinct trooper classes:
- Assault troopers are classic flankers, pushing the line forward and advancing the front
- Heavy troopers use their high-powered weapons and personal body shields to take ground and hold it
- Officers power up their teammates with buffs and deploy remote weapons to support their allies
- Specialists lay traps and snipe from a distance
- Control beloved Star Wars heroes, pilot prequel-era vehicles, and more
