Back in April, Indie Developer inbetweengames successfully Kickstarted their Tech-Noir Tactics game; All Walls Must Fall, a game that focuses on Time Travel in a future where the Cold War never ended. Today, the game made its long awaited debut in the Steam Early Access program following two years of development and three months of Closed-Alpha with the game's Kickstarter backers. As a bonus, the developers have tossed in a 10% launch discount that will last for the first week that the game is out.
Regarding how it plays, All Walls Must Fall is described as an "isometric action tactics game," where the player controls a time-hopping secret agent that must stop a nuclear catastrophe from happening. The game dynamically tasks players with mission objectives that differ from consecutive playthroughs, and it is up to you to figure out how to proceed. You can start trouble by telling a club bouncer to "F**k Off," which can instantly turn the club into a war zone, or you can sweet talk your way in without ever having to raise a finger.
The game puts a heavy emphasis on its music, which is of the synth/techno variety. Each step your character takes moves to the beat of the music, not unlike that of Crypt of the Necrodancer. The soundtrack features a number of notable music composers who have worked in the AAA space before including Jukio Kallio (Nuclear Throne, LUFTRAUSERS), Ben Prunty (FTL, Into the Breach), Kuedo (Knives, Planet Mu), The Orion Correlation and Lost & Found (Voidance records), and Mona Mur (Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, Velvet Assassin).
