Loot Crate, the company that provides cardboard boxes filled with geek culture and video game paraphernalia, has announced a new, limited-edition box for Call of Duty WWII. The limited edition box is a one off, meaning anyone can buy it, without having a subscription to their monthly delivery service.
According to Loot Crate's website (where you can place your order), the box will come with items which will vary between collectibles, clothing and "gear." Despite the box's contents being a mystery, we can assume, based on previous boxes, you'll more than likely receive a t-shirt (as the ordering process does ask for your shirt size), some stickers, a possible Funko POP! Figure or some other type of figurine and things like bracelets, necklaces and small techie things. The website for the Crate does say that the contents will contain "exclusive" and unique licensed products you can't find anywhere else.
If you're a COD Fan (like me, just listen to this week's podcast), then you may want to check out this crate, considering you're not required to sign up for a subscription, it may be a great way to see if you like their service. Either way, you're getting an estimated $90 value, for just $50, so that's not bad. Plus, if you need to justify your purchase, most of the items that are limited or rare, end up on eBay and usually bring in more money than the whole box combined, so there's that.
The Limited Edition Call of Duty Loot Crate is available now for pre-order for $50 and will ship out to customers in December, right in time for the holidays.
