Xbox continues to expand on its month-to-month Game Pass subscription service as it was announced that seven new games are hitting the service starting on October 1st. With Game Pass now featuring over 100 Xbox One and 360 games, Xbox will be adding the following:
- Super Street Fighter IV
- State of Decay
- Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
- The Bug Butcher
- Costume Quest 2
- Maldita Castilla EX – Cursed Castle
- Tower of Guns.
Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription service that launched back in June for $10 a month. Games that release in Game Pass aren't guaranteed to stay there permanently, as like Netflix, and to a lesser extent, EA Access, games will shuffle in and out to keep the offerings fresh and concise. That won't start to happen until November, so there's still some time to check out all of the games that launched with the service. If you're interested, you can try out Game Pass on a 14-day free trial.
Xbox also announced that October's Game Pass goal is to unlock an achievement in two different games from the Frightfully Fun collection of titles that celebrate Halloween. These games will be advertised in the Game Pass Lounge, so you'll know which ones to play. Completing the Game Pass Goal can net you a prize which could be either Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Gift Cards, movies, or DLC.
In other Xbox news, Microsoft recently revealed October's Games With Gold which includes Gone Home and Medal of Honor: Airborne.
