Middle-earth: Shadow of War has been doing very well for itself, topping the sales charts in Australia and New Zealand. But Monolith Productions apparently isn't satisfied with just a good score. They want people playing Shadow of War long after the main story is complete. In comes their planned DLC: The Slaughter Tribe.
Vague spoiler warning: Talion and Celebrimbor are successful in their goals. At the end, you're attacked by Uruks trying to reclaim the fortresses you worked so hard to take. This is the beginning of a system called the Shadow Wars. We've learned about these earlier, but the system has yet to become a neverending goal. The battle currently comes to an end, but the DLC The Slaughter Tribe will expand upon this.
The Shadow War mode will be free for everyone who owns the game, but the actual Slaughter Tribe expansion will cost money, according to a livestream from Eurogamer. However, there is no release date for The Slaughter Tribe DLC.
Shadow of War scored a 9/10 from GameZone, with the Nemesis System and customization being heralded as the pinnacle of creating player-made stories.
