Fan Campaign for new MediEvil game emerges in the wake of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’s success

#ResurrectFortesque

MediEvil was once a prominent name in the PlayStation catalog on Sony's first console beginning back in 1998. The series saw a direct sequel on the PS1 near the end of its lifecycle in 2000, before popping up again with a mediocre PSP reimagining of the first game called Resurrection in 2005.  The series hasn't been heard from since, but PlayStation fans piggybacking off of the enormous success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, HD Remasters of other PS1 classics, are hoping to gain enough support and attention from Sony to make a comeback a reality.

Tomorrow, October 30th will be the original game's 19th anniversary, and fans are hoping to get the hashtag, #ResurrectFortesque trending on Twitter. MediEvil has been rumored for a comeback for quite a few years, but so far nothing has been made official. But like anything, if fans are willing to show a developer the money, that's the fastest track to getting something done.

If you want to be a part of the campaign, head over to Twitter and Discord to find out what you can do, and don't forget to tweet out the hashtag #ResurrectFortesque tomorrow.
