PlayerUknown's Battlegrounds is coming to Xbox One very soon. A recent statement made by Brandan Greene (PlayerUnknown himself) implied that the game's performance on Xbox One was still up in the air, but that the Xbox One X version would definitely run at 60 FPS. He has since clarified this statement.
Greene took to Twitter, stating that PUBG will run at 30 FPS on all Xbox One devices, including Xbox One X. It seems his previous statement was referring to overall development and not launch day. "We’re constantly refining the game & exploring options to increase FPS," He explained, "but this early in dev, we’re unable to confirm more."
While I previously stated PUBG would run at higher FPS at XGP launch on 12/12, I want to clarify that PUBG will run at 30 FPS across all @Xbox One devices. We’re constantly refining the game & exploring options to increase FPS, but this early in dev, we’re unable to confirm more.

This is only a minor setback for the title, however. PUBG has recently broken records, reaching over 2 million simultaneous players on Steam. Is the news upsetting for One X users? Of course. The Xbox One X is meant to be the Ferrari of console gaming. It does leave us wondering what Greene meant when he previously stated that PUBG will be "Pretty much the same experience" on Xbox One.
Regardless of any upsetting performance news, one of the biggest gaming sensations of 2017 will be coming to Xbox One Preview Program on December 12.
