[Watch] Bethesda is looking to save the single-player gamer with a huge sale

With the help of Lynda Carter!

You know that Sarah McLachlan SPCA commercial cripples your emotions to the point of causing you to sign up and donate money monthly to the SPCA? Well, Bethesda has created their version of that commercial for the sad and neglected solo game player.

There's has been a growing concern that single-player games are on the verge of death in some communities in the gaming industry and while gamers lamented over the loss of single-player games, one developer has pretty much been exclusively creating games in this space.

From Wolfenstein 2 to Dishonored 2 to Prey to Fallout to Skyrim (which has been revamped), Bethesda has been cranking out plenty of single-player games. In order to support and celebrate single-player games, Bethesda will be discounting their current catalog of single-player games by up to 50% off (digitally and through select retailers), as well as make a donation of $100,000 to the Entertainment Software Association Foundation, an organization that provides scholarships to the next generation of industry innovators.

Check out the sad state of single-player games below, starring Lynda Carter, sad gamers, and sad animals.

Those poor, poor single-player gamers.
