The Nintendo Switch has made a name for itself in 2017 thanks to its great first party games, portability, and how well it showcases a variety of indie games. Many games that have been overshadowed on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC have found new life on Nintendo’s new console and one cult classic plans to make a comeback in just a couple of weeks.
The incredibly hard Super Meat Boy is making a return in January when it finally launches on Nintendo Switch. The rage-inducing platformer will release on the portable/console hybrid on January 11th, 2018 with a new Race Mode.

The mode has no official details right now but it looks to be a local competitive multiplayer mode where the screen is split in half and each player must tackle a different level as fast as they can. More details are likely to come in the next couple of weeks before launch but this is just what we were able to gather based on the screenshot provided by the game’s Twitter account.
Super Meat Boy will hit the Nintendo Switch on January 11th, 2018, no pricing details have been given.
