Ubisoft detailed their January plans for Assassin’s Creed Origins earlier this month. Their plans included the release of a number of updates, however, there was no mention of the educational mode for the game.
Ubisoft has finally released an update on when Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Discovery Tour will release! According to the game developer and publisher, Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Discovery Tour will release on February 20th, 2018.
In Discovery Tour, players will be able to choose between free roaming the beautiful world of Ancient Egypt to learn more about its history and daily life, or embarking on guided tours curated by historians and Egyptologists.
The game’s storyline and quests are not active in this combat free mode, so there’s no risk associated with it.
Discovery Tour will release as a free update for all Assassin’s Creed Origins owners and will be available for purchase separately for $19.99 on Uplay and Steam for Windows PC on February 20, 2018.
Before Discover Tour makes its release, the first DLC pack for Origins will release. Titled ‘The Hidden Ones’ the DLC will bring a new zone, increased level cap, new legendary weapons, mounts, outfits, and more to the game. The Hidden Ones will release on January 23rd, 2018 as part of the season pass or as a $9.99 standalone purchase.
Following the release of Discovery Tour, the game’s third DLC pack ‘The Curse of the Pharaohs’ will release. This expansion will once again increase the level cap and bring new items, as well as a completely new storyline. The Curse of the Pharaohs is set to release on March 6th as part of the season pass or can be purchased separately for $19.99.
