Updates to the map could definitely give newer players an edge, as seasoned players will also have to get used to the changes. But what’s to come with this update?
The previous update released last week offered additional performance improvements and gameplay updates. Before that, a number of quality-of-life improvements were added to better cater to a console audience using a controller instead of mouse and keyboard.
The game was released on the Xbox Game Preview program last month and while it works on a separate build than the PC version, they’re both being developed parallel to each other. This turned out to be a successful plan, as more than 3 million people have jumped into the battle royale on Xbox One alone.
Xbox One isn’t the only place PUBG Corp has their eyes on, however, as they hope to bring the title to as many platforms as possible after the Xbox One exclusivity deal is up.
With the massive popularity of the game comes a number of unwanted types of games. PUBG Corp has taken extra measures against cheaters, showing that it is not welcome in their game.
