Indiana Jones 5 is still on its way to becoming a full-fledged movie, instead of an idea. That’s right, Disney is doing more than just opening up a themed bar to keep the franchise alive.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Indiana Jones 5 will be the next project that director Steven Spielberg will be working on. Spielberg, the same man who is reported to be overseeing the Halo TV show, will be working with Harrison Ford, who is reprising his role as Indiana Jones.
Shia LaBeouf, on the other hand, will not be reprising his role as Indiana Jones’ son from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Speilberg’s goal is to release the film in 2020 after shooting it in 2019. While Indiana Jones 5 is said to be Spielberg’s next project, another title’s casting has begun ahead of Indiana Jones’ casting.
The plot of the film is not known, nor are any additional characters beyond Harrison Ford acting as Indiana Jones. The untitled film is expected to release on July 10th, 2020.
