Ubisoft has revealed a bunch of new trailers for Far Cry 5 to introduce the mercenaries you’ll be able to work with in the game. The characters are all over the place, but over all, there are two pilots, two stealth, two bombastic, and one good boy.
The good boy is a dog and he’s a good boy who brings back guns and kills enemies. As for the rest of the characters (including Boomer, the dog) you can get a brief overview in the trailer above or details per character in the fields below.
Far Cry 5 will release on March 27, 2018, for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The season pass comes with a bunch of content, but you can find details on that here.
Nick Rye
How Nick Rye, the king of the skies, will help you defend Hope County, and save his family’s future.
- Pilot
- Has an airplane named Carmina with a bullet gun and bombs.
Jess Black
Jess Black, the master huntress, wants to destroy the Project at Eden’s Gate for what they’ve done to her. Help her get revenge and protect Hope County.
- Hunter
- Sneakily kills people with arrows and keeps animals friendly
Hurk Drubman JR.
Hurk, the dangerously stupid RPG, will fight for his hometown, Hope County, Montana. He’s tired of cultists messing with his mom Adelaide, and his younger cousin Sharky.
- Blows things up with his RPG and has heat-seeking missiles.
Adelaide Drubman (Mama Hurk)
Hurk’s mama, Adelaide Drubman, The Chopper Queen, won’t let anything get in the way of her business ventures or hurt her son Hurk if she can help it. She’s more than willing to help you take down some Peggies.

- Has a helicopter and shows when called. Helicopter is equipped with guns and extra magazines, which means more shooting.
Sharky Boshaw
Sharky Boshaw, the pyromaniac, is ready to help you defend the land. He’s ready to follow in his older cousin Hurk’s shoes, and clear the Project at Eden’s Gate out of Hope County once and for all.
- Pyromaniac
- Sharky’s attacks have an extra ‘spark’ to them. He’s got smoke bombs, incendiary rounds, explosives and is resistant to most explosions and impacts.
Grace Armstrong
Grace Armstrong, the sharp shooting sniper, protects those who can’t protect themselves.
- Sniper
- Grace comes equipped with a ‘friendly’ laser so you know who she is. Her sniper shots will scare enemies away
Boomer
America’s good boy, Boomer, will help you defend Hope County against the cult.
- Good boy/Scout
- Takes down bad guys, brings back guns.
- Can be pet.
