It sure looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 is on its way to the PC. This comes after previous findings which hinted at a PC port and even the CEO of Take-Two nonchalantly stated that there wouldn’t be downside to releasing the RDR2 on the PC.
This newest rumor however comes from a resourceful Twitter user by the handle JakoMako51. The person behind that Twitter account is Jacopo Colangelo. An Italian Level Designer who’s working at an indie game studio. Colangelo found peculiar evidence while researching the source code of Social Club. Rockstar’s own community software which governs the developer’s games’ online components.
The fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC is now quite evident. #RDR2 #reddeadredemption2pc #RedDeadRedemption2 #rdr2pc #reddeadredemption

Now, this is of course not clear-cut confirmation that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC, but it is a highly hard evidence pointing towards it. Until Take-Two or Rockstar themselves come out and confirm RDR2 for PC, we still only can advise to remain hopeful. Even though there is plenty of evidence.
Red Dead Redemption 2 came out exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in Fall 2018. Rockstar’s signature attention to ludicrous detail and mature story-telling in a beautiful, living open-world immediately became a huge success. The game currently stands as the highest-rated game for both the PS4 and Xbox One. You can read more about our opinion on the masterpiece in our review here.
Seeing how Rockstar’s previous game GTAV became an insane blockbuster on the PC platform alone, it looks highly unlikely that RDR2 won’t come to the PC sooner or later. Granted, PC users were expecting a much shorter porting period, especially since the PC community supported GTAV so massively.
