CDV Software Entertainment AG – Two additional CDV titles approved for the
Xbox from Microsoft
CDV Software Entertainment AG, a publisher of computer games and applications
software located in Karlsruhe (Germany), has been authorized to produce two
additional games entitled Vultures and Project Nomads for the Xbox (TM)(1) from
Microsoft. These come in addition to the title CORE, which had been granted
previous approval.
Vultures is an exciting 3D beat em up designed by the renowned Swedish
company Developer Grin, Inc. This release is expected in the second half of
2003. Project Nomads has already been honored as "Best PC Game of the Year" at
ECTS 2001 and will likely also be released in the second half of 2003.
According to MediaControl, CDV has been the largest German publisher of PC
games in the full-price segment since going public in April 2000. The company
intends to develop additional titles for the Xbox in the future, said Wolfgang
Gbler, the Chairman of the Management Board of CDV. He added that the company
is also hoping for positive effects from the latest reduction in sales price for
the Xbox.
