Releases DataClash on AT&T PocketNet
CAMBRIDGE,
UK (September 11, 2000) nGame, specializing in the production
of
cutting edge interactive entertainment announces the launch of
DataClash,
the follow up to their first WAP game, Alien Fish
Exchange.
DataClash, available on AT&T PocketNet under the entertainment
channel
will be nGame’s second title offered at www.ngame.com
free to all
visitors
by the end of September, 2000.
DataClash
is a tense hacking game of adrenaline, strategy and nerve that
positions
players into head to head cyber-combat by allowing players to
compete
against any other player on the network. Not only can players
attack
their opponent, they also have a selection of over 90 different
offensive
and defensive ‘programs’.
"DataClash
extends nGame’s mission to build worldwide gaming communities
with
its rapidly developing content for WAP and other platforms. This
compelling
new game demonstrates nGame’s mission to push the current
boundaries
of the mobile and interactive gaming experience available to the
public
by adding a heightened level of interaction between players beyond
Alien
Fish Exchange," said John Brimacombe, CEO of nGame.
DataClash
follows the success of Alien Fish Exchange, which has already
achieved
35,000 registered users on AT&T’s PocketNet in under two
months.
This popularity reinforces the reputation of nGame producers as
providers
of fully interactive heavyweight games for the WAP
platform.
nGame plans to maintain its momentum with further US and UK WAP
releases
Merchant Princes, a trading game, combat games Dragon Army and
Carrier
Force and versions of DataClash and Alien Fish Exchange for digital
TV.
To
support its multiple distribution partnerships, nGame offers a
comprehensive
service, writing custom content to order or licensing titles
from
its existing range. It has also designed its own revolutionary
convergent
media server as the benchmark technology for producers who aim
to
reach cross-platform audiences
.
