Rumor: Final Fantasy XIII Versus to make a 360 Appearance After All

In one of the most profound off and on again relationships since Serena Williams and rapper Common, it appears that Microsoft may be on its way to securing a multi-platform release for Final Fantasy XIII Versus. Although Final Fantasy XIII designer Tetsuya Nomura has repeatedly stated that the game would remain a PS3 exclusive, it was widely speculated that it could very well happen after Final Fantasy XIII International was announced for the 360 in Japan.

It is further supported by a Square Enix job posting for Final Fantasy Versus XIII that was looking for a “battle planner” with knowledge of both level and battle design for a PS3 or Xbox 360 package title. Given Square’s recent focus to make a quick buck as fast as possible, I don’t doubt this news one bit.
