Red Faction: Battlgrounds Review

Red Faction is known for its solid formula, but don’t let the series’ reputation fool you into shelling out cash for this lackluster download. A poor camera and problematic controls are just two of the reasons to stay away from Red Faction: Battlegrounds. Sadly, this isn’t the experience fans of the series have been waiting for.

NASCAR The Game 2011

Looking for a racing game that will rival Shift 2 Unleashed? NASCAR The Game 2011 isn’t it. Though it features slightly enjoyable gameplay and an impressive presentation, the entire package leaves much to be desired.

Anomaly: Warzone Earth

Generic title aside, Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a highly competent title that puts a nice twist on the tower defense genre. This time around, you get to play invader and swarm your enemy’s defenses. It’s a nice change of pace in a style of game that has grown predictable, and at $10, this rewarding game offers plenty of enjoyment.

Mayhem 3D

Having plenty of potential and delivering on absolutely no front, Mayhem 3D is an average game that has you racing and destroying other cars. It may come packed with a pair of 3D glasses and offer interesting visuals, but this racer is no first-place winner. And at $39.99, you won’t help but feel ripped off.

Red Johnson’s Chronicles Preview

PlayStation Network users looking for a promising adventure game should keep an eye out for Red Johnson’s Chronicles. The game, which feels inspired by titles from developers such as Telltale Games, provides plenty of enjoyable gameplay for fans of the genre and challenges with Layton-like puzzles.

High Flyer Death Defyer Preview

Basic controls and a ton of potential make High Flyer Death Defyer a game to look forward to. Offering its own spin on the sky-diving formula, this simple game has enough appeal to wow the casual and hardcore crowd alike.
