Still playing through Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood? I see some of you haven’t even gotten started. If you’re like me, you have yet to play a single entry in the series because of time constraints. I’ll get cracking on it soon, but I better hurry because Ubisoft has announced the next game in the popular action-adventure franchise.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the fourth entry in the main series and the third and final chapter that tells the story of Ezio. In Revelations, gamers will uncover even more secrets about the protagonist’s past, and the story will be laid to rest as he explores the land of Constantinople. According to Ubisoft Creative Director Alexandre Amancio, releasing Revelations and finalizing Ezio’s story is a big accomplishment for the company. “Delivering the final chapter of the Ezio trilogy is an important milestone in the Assassin’s Creed franchise for us and our fans,” stated Amancio.
Aside from the main campaign, multiplayer returns with new features. In addition to the fresh cast of playable characters, gamers will also be able to engage in a number of different modes exclusive to this entry. You can expect Ubisoft to reveal more details about the new multiplayer modes as well as the new features for the single player game at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles. “Assassin’s Creed: Revelations includes lots of new features and some significant surprises,” said Amancio. “We can’t wait to show our fans what we have in store at E3 this year.”
Fans now have plenty to be excited about. And if for some reason you haven’t played the games (like me), be sure to catch up in time for the launch of Revelations. Each of the Assassin’s Creed titles has garnered massive critical praise and commercial success.
