Chalk one up for Battlefield 3 in the hype battle vs Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. EA’s upcoming first-person shooter took home the “Best of Gamescom” award at Gamescom this year.
Battlefield 3 has yet to win the war against Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (Sales will determine that – at least for publishers), but as far as first impressions – Battlefield 3 was the clear winner in this battle.
Whether you are rooting for COD:MW3 or BF3, you can’t deny that there was plenty to be excited about with Battlefield 3 at Gamescom. EA provided a first look at the console versions, the two-person co-op mode and the 64-player Caspian Border level.
