I was just browsing Kotaku and spotted this ad, which was published by advertising agency TBWA in June, but I have not seen before. The ad is for the PlayStation 3, as you can see, but what the hell is it supposed to mean? Sony’s ads are notoriously their own — definitely of their own style and personality. But this, my friends, is pretty bizarre. It sort of reminds me of the recent anti-drug TV spot, showing a kid taking shirt after shirt off, each with its own message about marijuana usage. I suppose this PS3 ad suggests that this girl is playing many different people (such as characters in games). I don’t know, though.
