Welcome to PSPA

AMN has been working very hard lately to pull together a new site to add to the network. Starting with only a Gamecube site with no plans of a network ever being established. But the success of GCA has opened the door to a network providing content for many more systems, and even Anime. The AMN has progressed very far throughout the years, and this is the day that we take the next step by adding Playstation Portable Advanced to the ever growing network.

Ever since Nintendo released the first Gameboy, gamers everywhere found a new way to enjoy their favorite hobby — without wires and wherever they wanted to go — the portable gaming era was born. While everyone from Sega to Nokia tried to take some of the market share away from Nintendo, none of them could make a dent in the massive support and brand recognition the Gameboy had. Now that Sony can firmly call the console market it’s own they now take the fight to Nintendo in unfamiliar territory. With the technologically advanced PSP and superb brand recognition, Sony is taking the portable world of gaming to the next level with the PSP, in an effort to de-throne Nintendo in yet another market.

I am proud to welcome you to PSPA. We’ll be working hard to make PSPA your number one choice for Sony’s PSP news, previews, reviews, and editorials. Please enjoy our work and visit us daily as we venture into what’s sure to be the most competition we’ve ever seen in the hand-held market.

Whether Sony steals the hand-held market away from Nintendo like it did the console market remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure PSPA will be there to cover every story along the way. We’re already hard at work to get interviews of the games and developers you want to hear from the most. We will take PSP coverage to the next level, and we hope you’re there every step of the way.
