GAME Stores Group, one of Europe’s leading video game retailers, is offering customers the chance to meet the voice of Mario at their flagship Oxford Street store on Friday, September 15, 2006.
Charles Martinet will be at the stores from 12pm to 4pm to sign limited edition postcards for customers while they wait for Nintendo’s official announcement regarding the final details on it’s upcoming console.
Copies of New Super Mario Bros. game will be given away to the first 18 customers to get Martinet’s signature, while the next 10 customers will receive a Mario T-Shirt.
Robert Quinn, Sales Director at GAME said “We have secured in-store the voice of one the most recognizable video games characters to sign autographs on the day. Customers have been waiting a long time to hear specific details about the hotly anticipated console, the Nintendo Wii, so we’ve given them a recognizable industry figure to keep them entertained whilst they wait.”
