Electronic Arts announced today that the fifth annual Madden Challenge will begin September 1st, a mere 10 days after the August 22nd release.
This year, the Madden Challenge is going international with the winners of 26 US regional tournaments joining the winners of five reigions in toher countries to compete for $100,000 check which will be given to them during a winner’s trip to the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii.
This year, the challenge is sponspored by Microsoft and Best Buy. The tournament will played on Xbox and Xbox 360 in two diferent divisions of competition.
Last year’s Madden Challenge drew 16,000 participants total. We will continue to monitor this story on AMN.
