Cave Story+ Has Landed on Steam

Cave Story will forever be remembered as an indie classic. The game managed to provide an impressive, totally enthralling experience that was unforgettable and remarkably old school. The argument can easily be made that it is one of the best games to not have launched during the NES era, if not the best.

Since its initial launch as a freeware PC title, Cave Story has managed to land on WiiWare, DSiWare, 3DS, and now Steam. As of today, Cave Story+ is now available on Valve's download market. It goes without saying that if you have yet to play the game for some reason, now would be the time to do so.

Cave Story+ features all of the memorable gameplay and moments that made the original release so awesome, but there are also some neat extras thrown in for good measure. The game includes the original graphics, upgraded visuals, four endings, USB controller support, and future content updates. There's definitely a lot here for Steam users.

Cave Story+ is priced at $9.99, but you can download it for $8.49 during the game's launch week. Seriously, this is a game that you should play. Yes, it's still available for free, but I would highly suggest that you support an impressive effort such as this. It's one of the most memorable indie games ever created, and it's a worthwhile experience for any gamer.
