Microsoft and Lionhead Studios recently announced Fable Heroes, the next entry in the Fable series and a new style and tone for the action RPG. Today the developer revealed that the hack-and-slash game is scheduled for May 2 and will release alongside Microsoft's other "Arcade NEXT" titles for 800 MS Points.
From Microsoft Studios and Xbox Live, "Arcade NEXT" will launch a new downloadable game on XBLA every Wednesday from April 18 through May 9. Also starting in April, all new XBLA games will feature 400 Gamerscore and up to 30 unlockable Achievements.
Fable Heroes is one of several games participating in the promotion. The other titles include Trials Evolution, Bloodforge, and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.
In the meantime, Lionhead Studios is challenging fans to guess the Achievements in Fable Heroes by leaving a comment on their news update.
