Japanese users with access to the GREE social gaming service will soon be able to play El Shaddai Social Battle, based on the original El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron released last year.
Players will assemble a party of three angels to ascend a tower, helping friend angels and fighting rival ones along the way.
An official site opened for the hoped-to-be sequel in mid-March. Now Ignition Entertainment has shared a teaser trailer (albeit one in Japanese) on the webpage.
No word yet on whether players in North America can hunker down with a version of the game anytime soon.
