Developer Zach Gage has temporarily slashed the price of his word puzzle game SpellTower, which has recently ascended the charts in the App Store.
Today Gage (@helvetica), excited over the game's popularity, tweeted: "SpellTower is doing a 1/2 OFF 24hr Sale Holy Crap, I'm Near the Top, This is Crazy! Help an Indie Take On Rovio+Zynga!"
Rovio and Zynga have been fighting neck-and-neck for top spot with their best-selling iOS games Angry Birds and Draw Something, respectively.
For a short time, you can grab SpellTower for 99 cents in the App Store. The current version has gained a strong five-star rating with 264 ratings.
