Preorders for Diablo III have set a new record high for Blizzard, the company reported today.
Co-founder and CEO Mike Morhaime confirmed that 2 million people have signed up for the Diablo III beta, a figure that includes participants of the open beta weeks ago.
Morhaime then said that 1.2 million gamers subscribed to the World of Warcraft Annual Pass, a 12-month plan that includes a free digital copy of Diablo III, along with other perks.
Diablo III hits PC and Mac this Tuesday, May 15.
