The action game Malicious, released in 2010 in Japan, is finally coming to North America. It will hit PSN on July 24 and cost $9.99.
Malicious consists entirely of battles against bosses and their minions, and attacks often incorporate the character's magical cloak, which can morph into melee weapons, shoot projectiles, or even act as a protective shell.
The concept is similar to Mega Man: Players can choose to face these bosses in whatever order they wish, absorbing powers as they progress.
A Vita version called Malicious Rebirth is releasing in Japan this summer.
