Battlefield 3: Armored Kill gameplay trailer shows off intense vehicle warfare

As the name suggests, Battlefield 3's upcoming expansion pack, Armored Kill, will focus primarily on vehicle warfare.

It will introduce a host of exclusive in-game content, new vehicles, assignments, and a ton of chaos which you can see in the trailer above. Battlefield 3: Armored Kill features 5 new drivable vehicles including mobile artillery, tanks, and ATV's complete with over 20 vehicle specific unlocks. You will also have the ability to spawn in the all-new gunship – which just sounds badass.

A brand new mode to the Battlefield franchise will also make its debut. Tank Superiority, which you will see some of in the trailer, has you battle for control of key areas of the map in heavy vehicles.

I hope you don't care about your kill/death ratio because it looks like Armored Kill will take its toll on it. As you'll see in the new gameplay premiere trailer, which showcases the snow-capped Alborz Mountain as well as the largest map in Battlefield history, the Bandar Desert, deaths will come easy. Nonstop explosions, constant chaos, and total destruction, this is Battlefield 3: Armor Kill.

Remember, Battlefield 3 Premium members will get two weeks early access to Armored Kill which is slated to release this September. Following the release of Armored Kill, are two more expansion packs: Battlefield 3: Aftermath coming this December and Battlefield 3: End Game coming in March of 2013.

After that, it's time to prepare for Battlefield 4 which EA and DICE recently confirmed. Anyone who pre-orders Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition will receive access to the exclusive Battlefield 4 beta which will be available in Fall 2013.
